# Vendor MCP tools

> The read-only MCP tools a vendor team's coding agent can call.

The DataVendor MCP server lets an agent read the catalog and your vendor team's listings, quality
reports, opportunities, sales, and estimations without pasting IDs by hand. Connection,
authentication, and limits are on [Using the API](/overview/api#mcp). Discovery only: publishing
and moving money stay in the web app.

## How tools chain

Discovery runs `list_browse_filters` → `browse_listings` → `get_listing` →
`get_listing_quality` or `preview_listing_taskset`. Review your own side with
`list_my_listings` → `get_my_listing_qc` or `get_my_listing_history`, find buyer requests with
`list_opportunities`, and check money with `get_my_wallet` and `list_my_sales`.

## Catalog

Published listings from every team. `get_listing` names the vendor organization that published the
listing; no tool names a buyer.

| Tool | Arguments | Returns |
| - | - | - |
| `list_browse_filters` | none | `domain_tags`, `asset_types`, and `content_tags`, each as `{ value, label }` pairs. Pass `value` into `browse_listings`. |
| `browse_listings` | `query`, `asset_types`, `domain_tags`, `max_price`, `verified_only`, `limit`, `cursor` | One page of listing summaries with `next_cursor` and `locked`. The catalog entrypoint when you have no listing id. |
| `get_listing` | `listing_id` | The buyer-facing record: title, summary, pricing lines, asset inventory, delivery and terms. Storage locations are withheld until purchase. |
| `get_listing_quality` | `listing_id` | `certified`, `certified_at`, environment-check counts, and the certifying run's check rows. |
| `preview_listing_taskset` | `listing_id`, `taskset_id` | The taskset summary plus the same first-page task preview a buyer sees in the web app. |
| `get_browse_access` | none | Whether the catalog is unlocked for your team and, for vendor-only teams, progress toward the browse gate. |

A vendor-only team is behind the [browse gate](/overview/glossary#browse-gate): `browse_listings`
returns only the first page of the unfiltered catalog with `locked: true` and no `next_cursor`,
and refuses filters, search, and further pages.

## Vendor team

The key-holding team's own vendor activity.

| Tool | Arguments | Returns |
| - | - | - |
| `list_my_listings` | `workspace_view` (`all`, `drafts`, `submitted`, `live`, `archived`) | The newest 100 matching listings plus `total` and a summary. |
| `get_my_listing_qc` | `listing_id` | The vendor QC report: latest run, check rows with statuses and fix guidance, review feedback. Task rows are limited to failing ones. |
| `get_my_listing_history` | `listing_id` | Lifecycle events with from/to status and whether your team or the platform acted. |
| `list_opportunities` | `query`, `tags` | Open listing requests your team can respond to, with buyer team (`null` when posted anonymously), deadline, and accepted asset types. |
| `list_my_bids` | none | Your historical bids on retired project opportunities, with status and pricing. |
| `get_my_wallet` | none | Credits balance and earnings (`total`, `pending`, `available`). |
| `list_my_sales` | none | Settled sales and lifetime earnings. The buyer is never identified. |
| `list_notifications` | `limit` (default 20, max 100) | The notification feed with unread count. Marking read stays in the web app. |
| `list_my_estimations` | none | Your team's newest 100 estimations plus `total`: each source, its asset type, status, quote band in cents, when it was priced, and the matching inventory asset, if any. |

The same reads, and inventory writes, are on the [vendor API](/sell/api/rest-api).
