# Become a vendor

> Sign up, set up your organization as a vendor, and reach your workspace.

Everything you sell on DataVendor belongs to an **organization**, not a personal account. Vendor
setup is self-serve: there is no application review.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Create your account">
    Sign up on [datavendor.ai](https://datavendor.ai) with your work email. Signing up creates your
    first organization and takes you to organization setup. You can rename the organization later
    under **Settings → General**.

    If another vendor referred you, sign up through their referral link. The referral counts only
    the first time an organization gets vendor access.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose Sell data">
    Choose **Sell data**. DataVendor sets up your organization as a vendor at **Tier 1** right away.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Accept the Mutual NDA">
    Read and accept the [Mutual NDA](/overview/glossary#nda) to open the workspace. Acceptance
    belongs to you, not the organization: every member accepts it, and you accept again whenever a
    new version is published.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Start in your workspace">
    Tier 1 lets you publish listings, run estimations, and track sales. You also see the first page
    of the catalog; search and filters unlock once you have live listings of your own (the
    [browse gate](/overview/glossary#browse-gate)).
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Note>
  Only team admins can move money: converting earnings, withdrawing, and accepting or rejecting bids.
  Members you invite can do everything else. See
  [Organizations and roles](/overview/organizations-and-roles#members-and-admins).
</Note>
